Life at the Pointe--Lakepointe Community Church That Is!

Our Halloween Outreach proved once again to be a great success!  As in previous years, we served over 450 cups of hot chocolate, cappucino, and coffee.  Although the Treat or Treaters were blessed, the greatest blessing was had by those that served.  We are thankful for each person that received a hot drink.  As in previous years, we accepted no donations.  Our purpose in doing our Halloween Outreach to show God's kindness to the community.


Our Sunday Morning Gathering is at 10 a.m.

Lakepointe Community Church seeks to create a relaxed atmosphere in which individuals can experience God's love.  Before church buildings existed, the early church met in homes.  Like the early church, we invite you into our welcoming  place of worship. 

How Should I Dress?  We encourage people to dress comfortably.  When the Bible speaks of clothing, it talks about modesty.  The idea of dressing up for church is rooted in tradition rather than Scripture.  However, if you feel more comfortable dressing up, we encourage you to do so.  You have the freedom to wear clothing that aids in your worship of God!

What Is the Friendship Cafe?  Following our church time, we enjoy refreshments as a church family in the Friendship Cafe.  Our time does not end with the closing prayer, but the church family is encouraged to stay and fellowship. 

Will I Be Pressured to Give?  We give you an opportunity to give, but you will never be pressured to give.  If you are visiting, we don't expect you to give.  We are simply delighted that you are visiting!

What Is Your Music?  Throughout church history, music has changed to meet the needs of its followers.  We are no different.  We worship God with contemporary Christian music without abandoning the traditional hymns.
